What is the minimum or maximum rental duration?
We primarily offer short-term rental — typically from a few days to a few months — as this is where refurbished rental delivers the most value. If you need equipment for longer, purchasing refurbished may be more cost-effective. That said, WeeeDoIT also offers longer-term or scalable contracts depending on your needs. In practice, you can test, replace, or temporarily scale up your fleet without tying up CapEx. Full flexibility, adjustable duration, and cost proportional to your actual usage.
Is the rented equipment refurbished?
Yes, exclusively.
All our equipment comes from our own stock, tested, certified, and guaranteed before each deployment. Every component (server, storage, switch, workstation, screen…) undergoes a full quality check before delivery. This model reduces carbon emissions linked to new equipment manufacturing by up to 80%, while delivering equivalent performance.
What happens if equipment breaks down during the rental period?
No worries — maintenance is included in all our rental contracts. In the event of an incident, our technicians will intervene to repair or replace the equipment according to the agreed service level. We hold spare parts in stock, ensuring rapid service restoration. In short: no downtime — WeeeDoIT guarantees service continuity.
What happens to my data when the equipment is returned?
Upon return, all data remaining on the equipment is securely and certifiably erased before any redeployment. Erasure is systematic and compliant with NIST 800-88 and DoD 5220.22-M standards. Upon request, we can also sell you the storage media so you retain them, or proceed with their destruction if redeployment is not desired. In short: your data is deleted securely before refurbishment.
Do you provide specific licences or configurations?
Yes. We can provide tailored configurations: operating systems, firmware, drivers, or software environments according to your initial requirements. Whether for a test environment, a migration phase, or a temporary project, configurations are validated before delivery. All setup is completed before delivery so equipment is immediately operational. In short: hardware pre-configured to your standards.
